The Do's and Don'ts of Social Media for Business


Hello readers, recently I was thinking of what are the Do’s and Don’ts of Social Media for Businesses. I first thought that is just common sense but after some research I found out that it is not that simple as it seems. I came across this small amusing video, which gives you the pillars of what to do and what not to do. 


I would like to ask you readers what do you think businesses can do and what not in terms of posting amusing things on social media? If I think about it companies should on one hand be serious and trustworthy institutions however on the other hand they want to have a lot of traffic on their social media pages and research says that with amusing things you are much more likely that people stay on your page. Therefore, the question is where is the boundary? As being too serious is boring and too amusing is also bad as you are a company and not a comedy club. So the big question is where is the golden middle way? I guess every firm has to discover this by themselves, as every firm is different and want to position them differently.
