There the president has gone into hiding from an attempted coup and now the government shut down the internet and mobile device connection. Meanwhile, the whole world is searching for Burundi to find out what exactly is happening there, as this tweet shows
Not many do know what is happening in Burundi at the moment. All we do know is that the rise of social media allowed young people to mobilize quicker than ever before to protest. It wouldn't be a surprise to see a coup happening in another country in which the economic situation is bad, and young people can use social media to meet up.
